Our client is currently recruiting for a Finishing Foreman to join their team based in Shannon, Co. Clare
ROLE:
Under the supervision of the Senior Site Engineer, the Finishing Foreman has the responsibility for delivery of the designated work area, safely, on time to the client’s satisfaction. S/He also has the responsibility for the progress, completion and outcome of the designated work section. The Finishing Foreman leads the construction of the designated work section, always under supervision of the Senior Site Engineer. The Finishing Foreman ensures that the coordinated subcontractors have all the available details, drawings, information and resources to deliver what is expected of them. The Finishing Foreman ensures that compliant/acceptable permanent and temporary works are provided in a safe, professional and practical manner to targets in the Target Construction Schedule and look-ahead schedules. Furthermore, s/he has to ensure full and proper coordination, records and reporting to deliver compliance, sub-contract management and adherence to cost plans in an overall effective manner.

The Microchip High-Reliability Integrated Power Solutions Centre, based in Ennis, is a R&D and production facility supporting the design, development, manufacturing and test of Integrated Power SolutionsTM (IPS) for high reliability applications. As the transportation sector continues to demand higher levels of power electronics reliability and integration in order to realise goals such as the more electric aircraft (MEA), Microchip’s IPS Centre of Excellence plays a critical role in supporting these objectives. Products from this centre include the Power Core Module (PCM) for Commercial Aircraft and Thrust Vector Control module for Space Launchers. The centre is now expanding and is seeking applicants to assist in the development of leading-edge new products.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful individuals will perform electronic design and process development for a new range of integrated power solutions using advanced methods, technologies and materials. These products include silicon-carbide power MOSFETs and diodes, analogue circuits, digital control, monitoring and communication circuitry. They have a power capability in excess of 5 kVA and are developed and manufactured for use in various high-reliability application areas, particularly in various forms of transportation.
Senior-level personnel will also have lead engineer and mentoring responsibilities.
These positions are based in Ennis and will involve interaction with other Microchip groups in France and USA.

We are strategically adding to our International HR Business Partner team, by opening this opportunity for an HR Business Partner to focus on HR and Safety for the Ennistymon factory.
What are my responsibilities?
Your responsibilities will be focused on accelerating our Success Through People in the Ireland factory.
You will partner with the Plant Manager and other factory leaders on People Strategies and Initiatives, Capacity and Capability Planning, Organizational Structures, Continuous Improvement and Safety, practicing and teaching behavioral based coaching and safety methodologies. Daily, you will be teaching and coaching leaders and partnering with leaders to engage employees and address employee issues.
You will partner with our global HR professional services team and the International HR team to foster best practices consistent with Irish employment law and practices and Daktronics philosophies. You will partner with leaders and our HR team to manage compensation and benefits planning and strategy, leaves and injured workers compensation, and employee communications and development.
You will also partner with our global Safety team to maintain and enhance the safety culture in the factory, practicing and teaching Behavioral Based Safety.
Where will I work?
You will work mostly in our Ennistymon facility, engaging closely with the leaders and employees. Some of your work can be done at home if you prefer, such as communicating with teams in the US. Occasionally you will have opportunities to travel to other Daktronics locations for learning and planning.
