YOUR NEW MECHANICAL FITTER JOB: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your main remit in the mechanical technician job will be required to undertake routine preventive maintenance and the trouble shooting of breakdowns. Day to day some of the key elements in the mechanical technician job will include: * Maintenance of all site machinery and equipment including conveyors, presses, pulleys etc * Assist with the commissioning of new equipment. * Trouble shooting and repairs of non-functioning machinery. * Use of welding and cutting equipment.
