The Administrator role is vital to the success of our organization as this person will interact with residents and their families. We are looking for a genuine, friendly and organized person.
This is a part time position for 3 days a week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday + Bank Holidays).
**Maternity Leave Cover position**
Excellent interpersonal skills, pleasant phone manner, typing ability, and familiarity with Word and Outlook are required. You will be responsible for overall office activities, including the reception area and mail. You must be reliable, punctual, organized, and have demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities in a very busy environment. The following is a general overview of the duties; however, it is not an exhaustive list.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with the management team to ensure an effective administrative service is provided to the Home.
Administration
- Create and upkeep staff files
- Correspondence recruitment/counselling/disciplinary
- Correspondence as requested by DON/ADON/CNM/RN
- Maintain attendance records recording all absence
- Prepare timesheets for payroll
- Update staff training matrix
- Highlight deficiencies in mandatory training immediately
- Archiving management
- Stock taking
- Produce nursing and care documentation
- Maintain supplier/contractor contracts
- May assist financial administrator
Requirements
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Strong financial aptitude
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- High quality customer service skills
- Computer literacy, with word processing skills.
- Professional appearance and manner
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Ability to multitask and work well within a team environment adaptability,
- Take on new responsibilities as required
General Duties
- Minute meetings as required
- Order stationary
- Achieve documents and monitor sending off site and return

- Computer literacy, specifically ECDL
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Experience with using databases
- Capacity to deal with ambiguity
