Vconnecta is seeking highly-motivated and ambitious individuals to join its expanding Head Office team for three two month placements beginning in January, 2014.
Suitable applicants will be well-versed in modern mobile technology, fluent in the main debates shaping Irish current affairs, and have a proven passion or high desire for working in the startup environment.
The three internship openings are being offered on a flex-time basis, with a minimum of sixteen hours per week, and will include the ability to rotate between exciting functions within the company within your department.
These are exciting opportunities which will appeal to anyone with a flair for technology and entrepreneurship. Previous participants have gone on to work in cloud computing, engineering, and other technology startups.

Working with the development team, and in particular the Lead Developer, the Programming and Development Assistant will assist with the implementation of our key technology roadmap objectives for Q1-2 2014.
Some previous coding and technology experience is highly desirable, as this role will involve a significant amount of product testing and familiarity with our digital design architecture.
Key responsibilities will include ensuring the functionality and ease-of-use of both our phone application, Ecanvasser, and our online dashboard environment, and working with the Android development department to ensure product continuity between that platform and the iPhone offering.
Marketing and Communications Assistant – one internship
Working with our marketing and communications team, the Marketing and Communications Assistant will assist in the full breadth of work in that department, including customer liaison and acquisition, ongoing support, the drafting of business analysis and strategy documents, and maintenance of our online communications network.
Experience in an area such as marketing, PR, or journalism would be very useful for this position and a high proficiency and speed in writing marketing copy and communications literature would be expected.
