Van Driver/Field Operative - Tallaght, Dublin 24

SUMMARY OF ROLE:
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver/Field Operative for our Client based in Tallaght, Dublin 24. This is an on-going full-time position, initially as agency, with an immediate start. Full training and PPE is provided for the role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Liaising with external and internal customers with regard to scheduled site visits and testing;
• Driving company van to/from customers’ sites, visiting customer sites to ensure product quality;
• Sampling and testing of materials including soils, aggregate and fresh concrete;
• Accurate recording and filing of test results;
• Completing paperwork relevant to maintaining quality records for future audits;
• Calibrating testing equipment;
• Ability to work unsupervised and work as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Full clean B licence (candidates are required to successfully complete a company driving assessment);
• Manual work experience;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Reliable and punctual.

RATE OF PAY:
€15.81 per hour, overtime paid at 1.5x. Use of company van included.

WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday range 6.00am to early pm finish. 39-hour week before overtime. There is a half hour unpaid lunch break. Start/finish times outside the normal working day (8am – 4.30pm) are paid at the overtime rate.
