-We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Therapy Assistant to join our team in Blackberry CDNT, Dock Road, Limerick
-Contract Type: Part Time Permanent Contract
-Contract Hours: 28 Hours per week
-Salary Scale: €32,372 - €37,617 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)
-This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
-Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 Days per annum pro rata
-Overview of the Post:
-To work under the supervision of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist to provide assistance with the provision of therapy supports to children attending the service and work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families.

The successful candidate will have
-Essential Criteria:
-- -
- Possess the relevant QQI Further Education and Training (FET) Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills.
- -
OR
-- -
- FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support.
- -
OR
-- -
- A relevant healthcare qualification.
- -
OR
-- -
- Be currently employed as an Attendant, Multi-Task or a comparable role and be willing to undertake a QQI/FET Level 5 programme in Health Service skills or equivalent.
- -
AND
-- -
- Candidates must have the personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.
- -
- Full clean drivers licence&
- -
- Experience of working with children.
- -
- Experience of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- -
- Be eligible to work in the state.
- -

Desirable Criteria:
-- -
- 1 year experience working with young children with ‘complex' disabilities.
- -
- Experience of providing a community based service.
- -
- Experience of carrying out therapy programmes.
- -
