Our client, a well-established and reputable manufacturing company based in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork is looking to expand their team, with Test Technicians. This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, days-only hours, along with a generoussalary and benefits package including 27 days annual leave, pension, healthcare, profit sharing, and educational assistance.

If you have a diploma, certification, or degree in electronics and at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a similar role, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and test electronic products using schematics, technical drawings, and procedures.
  • Utilise a range of test equipment (e.g., multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies) to troubleshoot and debug systems.
  • Test and debug electronic motor controllers, PCBs, and systems, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualification in Electronics (Diploma, Degree, or equivalent).
  • 1+ year of experience in electronic testing and debugging, ideally in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Proficient with test equipment such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents, with a solid understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics.
