About
The position requires a candidate with a background in immunoassay and chemistry instruments, your role will involve establishing hardware impact on assay performance to establish instrument controls and configurations.
The role will report to a Principal Scientist/Engineer
The Job
You will be a key member of a team who provides expertise in the manufacturing of medical instrumentation product platforms.
Duties
- Establish hardware impact on assay performance to establish robust instrument controls and configurations.
- Lead assay related investigations establishing root cause of same.
- Develop test definitions and improve test definitions of the existing assay suite.
- Present findings and updates to the wider Engineering Team and influence key stakeholders using a data driven approach to recommend assay performance improvements.

Requirements: Technical Scientist Job
- Degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline (Biochemistry, Chemistry).
- Min 5 years experience in high end laboratory equipment and assay characterisation/troubleshooting
- Clinical laboratory experience working with mid-to-high volume immunoassay and clinical chemistry IVD instruments.
