Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data governance policies that promote transparency, strengthen customer trust, and safeguard data privacy.
- Partner with business units to ensure responsible and ethical handling of customer data in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the Data & Analytics Roadmap, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with overarching business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Lead the intake and management process for data-related requests, ensuring efficient prioritisation, clear documentation, and consistent tracking.
Requirements:
- Ideally looking to speak to candidates who have 5+ years experience in a similar role.
- Experienced in implementing and maintaining data governance processes, with a focus on metadata management, data cataloging, and managing data demand pipelines
- Solid grasp of data analytics concepts—including predictive modeling, data visualisation, and data storytelling—combined with hands-on familiarity with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation). Also experienced with or knowledgeable in AI governance, data ethics, and emerging trends in data management.
-A primary degree with a strong focus on mathematics or statistics is required, and certifications in data governance, data management, or business analysis (e.g., DAMA CDMP, Collibra Ranger) are considered an asset.
