Spa Manager

Fota Island Resort are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Spa Manager to lead our Spa & Leisure teams and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

As Spa Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of both the spa and Leisure facilities. This includes overseeing treatments and services, managing the spa team, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and guest service, and working closely with the Leisure Manager to ensure the smooth running of Spa, fitness, and pool services.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Spa Manager in a hotel or wellness setting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasts, payroll and stock control
• CIBTAC, ITEC or CIDESCO qualifications or equivalent
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for wellness, health, and customer service
• Knowledge of spa treatments, product ranges, and industry trends
• Experience using spa booking software (e.g. Trybe, Book for Time, Paragon, etc.)

 Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including treatments, guest bookings, and staff management
• To create a welcoming, friendly and relaxed environment for Spa and Leisure Club members and guests.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of therapists and reception staff
• Ensure all treatments meet high quality and brand standards
• Develop spa packages and promotions to drive revenue and guest engagement
• Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and treatment product ordering
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure all health & safety protocols are followed
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues to ensure complete satisfaction
