Software Developer - Front & Backend

Job Summary:

Join the Business Analytics RAD team, located in Cork where business meets technology. Our clients team develops innovative, data driven and flexible web based apps, which allow the Operations business to scale up, move forward at a rapid pace and execute more efficiently.

• Play a key role in a small, nimble team of Software Engineers and Project Managers
• Collaborate directly with the internal business partners, and develop close relationships
• Lead the end to end project lifecycle and manage the sustainability of existing tools
• Analyse and operate on very large data sets.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies as well as propose improvements into our existing technology stack
• Openly discuss your opinions, and share knowledge with other team members
• Develop  mockups / prototypes and summarise features to business users
• Present solutions to senior business stakeholders

• 3+ years of experience in scripting languages (Python, PHP or equivalent)
• Strong database background (MySQL, Teradata or equivalent)
• Experience with SPA, MVC or micro-frameworks
• Linux fundamentals, shell scripting
• Can 'shift gears' quickly and balance multiple priorities
• Strong problem solving skills

• Docker – Kubernetes
• Git

Would be a great advantage:

• Some Kubernetes and DevOPS experience
• Interest in Analytics and AI
• Passion for Data visualisation and UX
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
