We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Social Worker (Professionally Qualified) to join our team in North Tipperary CDNT, Nenagh, Co Tipperary

Contract Type: Full time permanent contract

Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week

Salary: €49,581 to €65,674 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)

Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum

Overview of the Post:

-

To work as a member of the children's disability network team & home share team providing a quality, evidence based service to children and young people 0 – 18 years within an interdisciplinary framework and family centered practice and to support other staff and students as assigned.

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:

  • Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.
  • -

AND

  • -
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

AND

  • -
  • Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual registration

  • -
  • On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.
  • -

AND

  • -
  • Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the Enable Ireland
  • -

Desirable Criteria:

-
  • -
  • Recent, relevant experience working with children and their families.
  • -
  • Experience working with children with disabilities.
  • -
  • Experience of Inter-disciplinary team working.
  • -
  • Some years' experience of working in the disability sector.
  • -
