Overview:
Are you a Site Engineer in the Southeast area? Do you come from a strong civil engineering background?
A leading Tier 1 Civil Engineering Main Contractor are seeking a Site Engineer for a long-term water infrastructure project in the Co. Kilkenny area. You will play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale programme, and you will collaborate closely with the very strong and supportive team on site. This project is set to last for another 7 years promising long term work on a fantastic project, ideal for anyone whose commute is getting too much for them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Implementation: Assist in the full project lifecycle, from design through to construction and commissioning.
- Setting Out & Technical Support: Perform setting out duties and provide technical guidance to crews on-site.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Design Team, Site Supervisors, and Health & Safety personnel to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce high H&S standards in line with company and regulatory policies.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a site engineering role in Ireland
- Strong setting out skills using GPS/Total Station.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with site teams and stakeholders.
The Package:
Salary is DOE, but you can expect a competitive salary in the region of €50,000 - €60,000 + Vehicle + Fuel.
