Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Dublin City Centre (remote interviews/onboarding)

To join a very well respected and established employer in Dublin City Centre, this role will suit a

senior SRE with experience in building/scaling applications, delivering onto Cloud infrastructure who has experience working closely with Development Teams, detecting and monitoring issues.

My client is undergoing a significant transformation project at present, this is a key role that will shape the structure of cloud deployment into the future.

The role:

• Designing and executing solutions to improve cloud applications
• Working closely with development and QA teams/Project Managers to scale web apps and to address performance, faults and high availability
• Define specific benchmarks of service levels and work with management to achieve same

Required Skills/Experience

• At least 6+ years of enterprise level experience with at least 3 as an SRE/DevOps Engineer
• High level of comfort on both hardware and networking as well as software
• Some development knowledge, Java and or scripting
• Able to work across Windows and Linux based systems
• AWS knowledge or certifications, able to run applications in same
• Any and all load balancing experience will be welcome
