The Project: €30m Government Building Refurbishment + Extension
Overview:
A leading Irish Main Contractor is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to join their team for a landmark €30m government building refurbishment + extension project in Co. Laois. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take the next step in their career, working with a respected contractor on a significant public sector project which will no doubt enhance their own career. This project is still in early stages, which promises long term work in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee site engineering activities, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards.
- Manage quality control, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Work closely with the Site and Project Managers to coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
- Assist in the mentoring and development of Junior Engineers.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in site engineering in Ireland, ideally on large-scale public or commercial projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with subcontractors effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect between €70,000 - €80,000 + Vehicle/Expenses.
