Senior Quantity Surveyor Criteria:
- 7+ yrs Post-Graduate experience with a Main Contractor / PQS / Developer
- Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
- Experience on large construction projects with a Main Contractor
- Residential construction experience or similar
- An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
- To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
As Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Reporting to the Commercial Manager
- Advise on contractual matters – general and project level
- Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
- Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
- Reporting on budgets and variations
- Negotiate and agree subcontractors
What you’ll get in return The base salary for the position is negotiable but expected to be €95,000 - €110,000 depending on experience. A vehicle, 10% bonus, pension, healthcare and gym membership will be put in place for the successful candidate and the opportunity to work with one of the most exciting construction companies in Ireland.
