Senior Psychologist – Maternity Leave
-Full-time – 35hrs – Specified Purpose

Role Summary
-The Senior Psychologist will work as part of the Psychology team, managing both an inpatient and outpatient caseload. The psychologist should be an effective team worker, possess excellent analytical, diagnostic and therapy skills. They must be highly motivated, organised, efficient and flexible with a commitment to providing the highest quality evidenced based mental health care to clients attending Saint John of God Hospital.

Essential Criteria:
-· Have a recognised post graduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and meet the PSI guidelines for employment as a Senior Psychologist in the Irish health Services.
-· Knowledge and expertise in at least two specialist therapies (e.g., CBT, CFT & DBT).
-· Supervision experience with staff grade psychologists, trainees and/or assistant psychologists.
-· Doctorate level knowledge of research design and data analysis.
-· Excellence in comprehensive psychological /neuropsychological assessment
-· Knowledge of legislation and its implications for clinical practice
-· Knowledge and demonstrable experience of working with clients presenting with eating disorders
