Senior Occupational Therapist - Adults with Complex Needs
Location: South Leinster | Full-Time | Permanent
We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury (ABI), and/or mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a person-centred, community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage a varied caseload with complex needs.
Deliver occupation-focused, evidence-based interventions.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support person-centred care.
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to service development.
Mentor junior staff and participate in internal training.
Essential Requirements:
CORU-registered Occupational Therapist.
Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
Clinical experience with adults with intellectual disabilities, ABI, and/or mental health challenges.
Full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience:
Sensory integration and/or seating assessments.
Functional assessment tools (e.g., AMPS).
Experience in staff supervision or service improvement initiatives.
Interested applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior or experienced Staff Grade OT looking to step into a senior-level role.
