Are you a passionate and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding role? Our client, a leading service provider in Intellectual Disabilities is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities, supporting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy (OT) services to individuals with intellectual disabilities across various settings, including residential, day services, and community-based programs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior occupational therapists, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Support and advise families, caregivers, and staff on interventions that promote the well-being and development of individuals in the ID setting.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development programs within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within an MDT.
  • Full Driving Licence & access to own car
