We are hiring a Senior Cardiac Physiologist to a Hospital in Limerick, Ireland.
This is a Full-time, Permanent position.
Responsibilities
- To assess, plan and implement non-invasive cardiac diagnostics without direct supervision, primarily in Echocardiography in line with BSE standards.
- To support the management responsibilities of the Multi-Disciplinary Team within the Clinical Measurements Department with specific responsibility for providing professional support and highly specialist cardiac physiologist advice as necessary.
- To take charge of the Clinical Measurement Department as required.
- To maintain the health and safety of patients and colleagues always by complying with all relevant Trust policies.
- To be an active member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, leading/liaising/communicating as necessary and supporting junior staff.
- The Cardiac Physiologist shall, always, act in such a manner as to justify public trust and confidence to safeguard the interests of individual patients
Requirements
- Possess at least three years of experience working in a cardiac department after receiving your degree.
- Have access to Advanced Life Support.
- strong general understanding of cardiology.
- Exhibit the capacity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Exhibit drive and a creative approach to your work.
- Show off your clinical expertise and pertinent experience working in a cardiology department.
