RHEUMATOLOGY - REGISTRAR (Commencing July 2025)

Contract info: Commencing 14th July 2025. 12 month contract.

Rheumatology registrars will have the opportunity to work in a busy tertiary referral unit where there is exposure to complex rheumatology cases. There are sub-specialty clinics and in-department availability of polarised light microscopy, musculoskeletal ultrasound and video capillaroscopy. There are dedicated weekly teaching sessions and opportunities to engage in teaching and research. The Rheumatology registrar works alongside the Specialist Registrar and will provide outpatient clinic attendance, rheumatology consultations and GIM Registrar cover with a current (shared with the SpR) medical cover of 1 in 12 on-call.

We would also encourage applicants who have completed MCRPI exams and who are contemplating a career in rheumatology or related medical specialty.
