We are seeking a Retail Assistant for the paint department of a North Kerry based hardware store. We are seeking a candidate to work 3 days per week but will consider candidates who are seeking a full-time opportunity as well.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the paint department, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers.
- Listen to customer requirements and present suitable options.
- Mixing paint to customer requirements
- Processing cash and card payments.
- Keeping the paint department well stocked and presented at all times.
- Assist with stock taking procedures.
Candidate requirements:
- Customer service experience.
- Good organisational skills
- Computer literate
- Cash handling experience
- Previous retail experience in a hardware / soft furnishing environment would be an advantage but all candidates from other retail backgrounds will be considered.
The client will offer some flexibility in working hours but working on Saturdays will be a part of the roster. Rate per hours from €13.80.
