Job Purpose
Delivering quality projects on time and within budget is critical to the client’s overall performance. This role is responsible for managing and delivering telecoms projects from end to end—covering both business and technical components. All projects must meet specification and comply with agreed company standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the delivery organisation to identify, prioritise, and initiate improvements aligned with specific business objectives
- Identify and resolve issues arising from Ribbon Handover in coordination with Build and ArcGIS teams
- Monitor QC Asset Dashboards daily for Defect Quality Form submissions and alert Build Team immediately of any new entries
- Compile Asset Quantities and QC Dashboard data into weekly quality presentation slides (PowerPoint format)
- Schedule and lead weekly quality review meetings with DA Manager and FLMs to progress open defect issues
- Present weekly DA Quality Slides in client meetings (e.g., NBI) and manage any resulting actions
- Identify weekly quality improvements by creating Problem Definitions for submission to the Quality Manager
- Liaise with site crews and FLMs to provide support and ensure completion of work to the agreed standards
- Perform ongoing quality checks on completed work to verify compliance with customer specifications
- Ensure QC/analysis of assets is conducted from the beginning to the end of each workday to maintain consistent coverage across all client DA contracts
- Prioritise quality checking of unanalyzed assets and Blockage RFIs across all relevant client DAs and Maps daily
- Ensure time logged in Geopal matches the corresponding QC edit records in ArcGIS/Survey123
- Collect, analyse, and summarise data to reduce project risk and increase the probability of achieving expected outcomes
- Focus quality improvement efforts based on Ribbon Handover schedule
- Provide a weekly performance summary of QC by DA
- Participate in weekly reviews of active improvements with the Quality Manager
- Conduct site visits to customer and staff locations as required
- Plan site visits with the Quality Manager and review outcomes post-visit
- Support project improvement, data gathering, and staff coaching through approved additional site visits, with advance notice and justification to the Quality Manager
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in telecoms, spanning design, construction, and quality roles
- Strong customer-centric mindset
- Proven commitment to continuous improvement
- In-depth knowledge of FTTx construction methodologies and specifications
- Financial awareness of the impact of day-to-day decisions
- Working knowledge of GIS platforms, preferably ArcGIS
- Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
- Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English with professional presentation
- Previous experience in people management
