The Role
The QSE Co Ordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and regulations within the organization. They will implement policies, procedures, and programs to maintain and improve QSE performance. The role involves collaborating with various departments to promote a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility in line with corporate policies and local legislation. Reporting into the General Manager your key responsibilities will be:
Responsibilities
Ensuring regular checks, daily, weekly, and monthly etc, in the document library are current and up to date e.g. DOC 315 end of day shut down, DOC 610 PPE issue record.
Support the General Manager and the local Management team in achieving H&S objectives as agreed out by the Executive Leadership Team.
Maintain QSE management systems in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Conduct regular audits on the above (once a quarter) and inspections to assess compliance with QSE standards and identify areas for improvement and update the GM on a regular basis e.g. weekly basis.
Coordinate with the General Manager and other Managers to address QSE issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
At induction stage, provide training and support to all employees on QSE policies, procedures, local instructions and safe systems of work.
Provide a summary of QSE performance data on a monthly basis to the QSE Manager and General Manager.
Support the local site during external audits from external regulatory authorities i.e. NASI, BSI and SGS.......
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Submit the accident investigation form on Cirs to be approved by the QSE Manager.
Manage local risk assessments and hazard identification activities to mitigate risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
NEBOSH certificate level
Strong knowledge of QSE standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical skills and attention to detail for conducting audits, analyzing data, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Problem-solving skills to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
