Our client based in Limerick is seeking a Project Manager Engineering to join its expanding team.
⦁ Duration of Job:
12 months
⦁ Summary Objective:
The Project Manager Engineering will be responsible for the proper execution of multi disciplinary capital, compliance, and and equipment replacement projects.
⦁ Job Duties:
• Manage the projects in accordance with J&J objectives.
• Manage scope and cashflow.
• To ensure health and safety of all internal and external employees working on the projects and that there is no impact as to quality.
• Provide frequent concise updates to key stakeholders & local and global management.
• Responsible for execution of the projects.
• That all current legal standards, GMP and compliance are met.
• Ensures that the excellent interdepartmental relationships are maintained with all other Company depts.
• Monitors are coaches the project team members to ensure that this objective is met.
• Maintain a continual focus on cost awareness.
• Manage project expense and capital budgets.
Requirements
⦁ Experience and Knowledge:
• Relevant degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a GMP or medical device manufacturing environment. Minimum of 1 year experience in a technical position and 1 year in a managerial role.
• Previous experience in equipment and process validation activities.
• Process development experience.
• Knowledge of equipment and process validation and documentation procedures and processes.
• Knowledge of safety standards
• Relevant courses in GMP, project management, process/design excellence and personnel management are an advantage.
• Experience of bespoke capital equipment. Equipment conceptual skills.

• Leadership skills and ability to motivate and lead - must be team orientated.
• Ability to organise medium complexity technical issues
• Ability to work effectively in a changing environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
