Quest Data Protection provides a holistic approach to help control your data growth, future proof your data protection strategy, prevent data loss, and improve the predictability and cost-effectiveness of data investments.   We’re currently looking for a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager to join on our Data Protection (DP) team.



Responsible for solutions and technology marketing activities designed to increase sales growth and expand market share. Contributes to and implements strategic marketing plans and objectives. Analyze product marketing strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets. Identifies and communicates the customer value proposition and maintains relationships with sales, product partners, and third-party vendors. Assists in creating content in support of the promotion, enablement, and sale of products.


-Planning and coordination of marketing activities for specific product(s) or solution(s)

-Develops content for internal and external audiences relaying product/solution strategies and value propositions, including customer presentations, sales training materials, thought leadership and demand generation assets

-Manages product/solutions launches to ensure sales force readiness and optimize P&L impact of product transitions

-Engages with other departments to ensure execution of strategic plans, such as digital marketing, demand generation and sales enablement

-Engages, contributes and supports the cross-functional marketing team that executes against an agile methodology to deliver marketing programs

-Collect and analyze market sizing, sales, customer and prospect feedback to inform strategy while partnering with sales and product managers to conduct win-loss analyses to uncover trends and opportunities

-Work with our customers to build customer case studies to support our efforts in selling to other customers

-Monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs

-Regularly presents and speaks in front of groups – sales, channel partners, industry events and online webcasts

-Approximate travel – *15-20%


-5+ years’ experience in Product marketing

-Undergraduate degree in marketing, business or a related field

-Proven project management experience - balancing multiple projects and requests simultaneously

-Able to work independently and able to work as part of a virtual team

-Creative ability to build messaging in a simple way that will resonate with the target audience

-Strong communication and influencing skills. Excellent relationship building and networking skills

-Solid written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills

-Team player willing to work in a cross-functional and virtual marketing team

-Strategic and results-driven with the ability to analyze and make decisions based on data



-Previous experience with a B2B enterprise software company

-Knowledge of systems such as, WebEx & Eloqua

-Previous Product Marketing experience a distinct advantage
