We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Physiotherapist (Basic Grade)to join our team in a CDNT based in Enable Ireland, Lavanagh Centre, Curraheen, Cork.

Contract Type: Temporary (6 month Fixed Term Contract)
-Contract Hours: 35hours per week
-Salary Scale: €43,276 to € 57,653 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments)
-Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days pro rata

Overview of the Post:
-To work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a physiotherapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. The post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children's homes and community settings.

The successful candidate will have
-Essential Criteria:
-Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU. See attached link for current approved Physiotherapy qualifications:
- -AND
-Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
-AND
-Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Register Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
-Annual registration
-i. On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.

-· Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the Enable Ireland.
-Desirable Criteria:

- Experience of working in a community based setting.

· Experience of working with physical disabilities
