Candidate must be resident in Ireland with permission to work in Ireland OR hold a current Work Permit in Ireland
Must have at least 3 years of experience in similar property
To support the Sous Chef & Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management
To fully operate and control the pastry section
To ensure a quality product is delivered
To prepare & serve desserts for Breakfast, Conferences, Bar Food, Bistro Dinner & Functions from 30-300 guests
To follow any instructions given by the Health & Safety Manager and to offer full support at all times in the implementation of all necessary controls
To ensure the duties of the kitchen porters are completed to the required standard
To ensure service runs smoothly and check each dish that leaves the kitchen top ensure quality
To communicate daily business to all chefs and allocate duties where necessary
To overlook all dishes going out & to ensure they are to the standard required
To assist the Chef in maintaining quality of ingredients and suppliers
To assist and be aware of stock rotation
To organise and make ready all material & utensils necessary for the shift
To work with other departments and assist where necessary
