The Partner Account Manager is a field-based role and reports directly to the UK&I Regional Sales Manager. Working with Irish Operator and UK Reseller Partners you'll assist sales engagements with enterprise consumers of the Akamai services. Primarily accountable for the maintenance and growth of monthly revenues through profitable relationships with onboarded Operator partners.
As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
+ Developing strategic partnerships to maximize territory opportunities through new accounts and meeting sales quotas.
+ Creating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy to prospective customers in collaboration with your partners.
+ Becoming a subject matter expert on our Akamai propositions and products to effectively identify potential customers/partners.
+ Managing and leading in contract negotiations when recruiting with designated partners to ensure a seamless service.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
+ Have relevant experience in Channel/Operator sales and Partner Management.
+ Have experience within the technology industry, enthusiasm to learn about Security and the EDGE.
+ Have experience of the Irish Telecoms market would be highly desirable.
+ Demonstrate an aptitude for building trusted relationships with partners across various levels of seniority.
+ Have high ethics, integrity, and humility with a desire to operate as part of a team.
+ Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to present to various stakeholders.
