Purpose of Role:
+ To assist the CBRE Operations Manager to successfully run an IFM service for the client by ensuring the smooth execution of painter/decorator duties onsite and implement world class customer service levels.
+ Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencement.
+ Ensure compliance with client and CBRE Quality procedures and GMP requirements.
+ Ensure full compliance with client and CBRE GMP, Safety & Environmental, legislative and statutory programs.
+ Ensure Customer Service standards are world class and reflect CBRE and our client's high expectations through our finished work.
+ Candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a growing team. They must be capable and willing to undertake additional duties as the need/demand requires both at site level and in supporting regional CBRE organisation.
+ The role requires an individual with a customer focused proactive attitude.
+ Carry out any duties as required by the CBRE Operations Manager
Activities Within Role:
+ To complete all priming, surface preparation, power washing, painting, decorating and Sign Writing works to all building surfaces (internal & external), plant and equipment at the specified location.
+ To carry out routine work generated on work orders (non-urgent work jobs required by others on site) to meet service level agreements or to respond to emergency breakdowns across site.
+ To liaise and communicate as needed with end users to determine requirements.
+ To specify and order supplies or materials as needed for work.
+ To carry out other maintenance roles such as furniture or equipment removal, snow or ice clearance works, documentation or administration tasks and assistance thereof in times of reduced painting demand or as required. Ensure documentation of work activities to GMP requirements are adhered to using both paper based and CMMS systems.
+ Assist in keeping buildings and work areas or storage areas clean and tidy.
+ Assist with the hosting of sub-contractors and receipt of deliveries when necessary
+ To be flexible and adaptable to new working methods, practices, plant, equipment or procedures.
+ To maintain painting systems, plant and work equipment in good order.
+ The post holder will follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others. Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to management for prompt action.
+ To assist others in the CBRE team as necessary and carry out other duties as required by the operational needs of the department.
Job Experience:
+ Trade Qualification with 4-5 Years general painting and decorating duties preferably in Domestic and Chemical Industry.
+ Customer and results focused.
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical Industry is an advantage
Qualifications:
· Painter/Decorator qualification
· Excellent understanding of general DIY/engineering activities
· FETAC Engineering/Trade Qualification
