Who we are looking for

We are looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our Waterford team, as Op Ex Specialist you will support the site in implementing the OPEX strategy, interacting with all employees of the plant at every level of the organization

A day in the life of our Opex Specialist

+ _Assist in the development and implementation of the OPEX Site Strategy_

+ _Lead OPEX improvement activities across the site with an ‘End to End’ focus_

+ _Support the site in the implementation and development of the TEVA Operating System for Organizational Excellence_

+ _Serve as a change agent and key Site Influencer_

+ _Actively support and improve the Site Idea Management System_

+ _Provide all required OPEX support to departments across the site as required_

+ _Lead site Cost saving, Yield improvement initiatives and drive improvements in the QC Lab in support of achieving the QC Vision_

+ _Perform all necessary data analysis using lean and six sigma methodologies_

+ _Identify opportunities for system and process improvements with a key focus on cycle time reduction and Agile Flow_

+ _Demonstrate the appropriate use of Lean techniques during OPEX projects_

+ _Coaching employees in Lean Techniques and Principles in order to develop an organization wide culture of change_

Who We Are Looking For

Are you

+ _Currently working in an Operational Excellence role or have an interest in working in an Operational Excellence role_

Do you have?

+ _Degree qualification in either Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Technical, Engineering or Management or a Master degree in Lean_

+ _A Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt_

+ _Previous experience in a Lean production environment_

+ _A Deep understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodology and tools_

+ _Experience in operational functions such as Manufacturing, Quality, QC or Supply Chain would be an advantage_

+ _Project management experience and excellent time management skills_

+ _Strong communication and collaboration skills required in coordinating activities_

+ _Analytical thinking and problem solving skills_

+ _Experience in analysing information and designing metrics relevant to the business environment_
