Operations Coordinator
Location: Killarney, Co. Kerry
Position: Permanent
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am-6pm, will involve occasional evening and weekend work.
Salary: €40k - €48k
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for a Tourist related business in Killarney. This will mostly be a Monday to Friday position, 9am to 6pm, with occasional evening work and weekend requirements. As an Operations Coordinator you will manage day-to-day operational activities, coordinate with suppliers and team members, and ensure that all services meet their high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including tour schedules, bookings, and customer service.
- Communicate with staff and third-party vendors to ensure all arrangements run smoothly.
- Manage and update booking systems, itineraries, and schedules.
- Monitor operational performance and address any issues promptly to minimise disruption.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring contracts and agreements are up to date.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling of support staff.
- Stock control of operational resources, including shop supplies, farm equipment, and promotional materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations or coordination within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-first attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with local and international tourism trends and regulations.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours, including weekends or holidays, as required.
