- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications and professional memberships are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably within the healthcare, residential, educational, commercial, or public sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex mechanical engineering projects from start to finish.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and installations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Oversee and coordinate all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Provide technical direction and support for mechanical systems, including steam, water, air, and heating installations.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Manage and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Conduct regular project meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment among all stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high safety standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and any issues encountered.
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €65k plus a package.
