- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications and professional memberships are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical contracts management, preferably within the healthcare, residential, educational, commercial, or public sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex mechanical engineering contracts from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installations.
- Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
- Oversee the preparation and management of contracts for mechanical engineering projects.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
- Coordinate and supervise project activities to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.
- Manage project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring effective cost control.
- Monitor and manage financial risks associated with contracts and project execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead and mentor the contracts management team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and contractual obligations.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high safety standards.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, including contracts, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and any issues encountered.
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €85k plus a package.
