The Management Information (MI) Analyst is a new role aiming to provide actionable insights to support effective decision-making across Ibec.  The role has two core elements.  Primarily it is to gather, analyse, and interpret data from various sources to provide insights, analyses and reports for Senior stakeholders.  Additionally, the individual will work with stakeholders to develop requirements for future reports and insights.  
 
Ibec Data Analytics is a four-person, in-house, team serving a diverse user base of over 300 users. The team uses the latest Microsoft technologies and supports all parts of Ibec. The successful applicant requires strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.  The position requires technical proficiency, commercial acumen, and an ability to work with C-Suite stakeholders. ABOUT THE ROLE

Data Analysis, Insights and Reporting:  

  • Identify, develop and present insights and recommendations to Executive and Senior business stakeholders.
  • Prepare, validate and analyse data from multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with Business stakeholders to understand business drivers.
  • Translate complex data into clear and concise insights for stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous checks.
Business and Technical Requirements:  
  • Collaborate with end-users to understand their data and reporting needs.
  • Conduct interviews and workshops to gather requirements.
  • Understand the existing technology and data architecture (Microsoft / Fabric / Power BI) to design appropriate solutions.
  • Write business and technical requirements.
Project Support and Collaboration:  
  • Contribute and support data and technology projects applying business and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and enhance team capabilities.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new data tools and technologies for end-users.

ABOUT YOU

Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Maths, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience:  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in insights and data analysis.
  • Previous eCommerce, Marketing, Finance or Professional Service sector experience is required.
  • Requirements gathering and writing experience is required.
Skills:  
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with SQL, Power BI and or Fabric.  
  • Microsoft Dynamics suite experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
