As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within the building services sector.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as a good working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (CIBSE, ASHRAE, etc.)
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design and project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and liaise effectively with clients and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, practical solutions.
Intermediate Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
- Support senior engineers and project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design to installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that installations meet design specifications, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within time and budget constraints.
- Assist in implementing energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in all mechanical designs, in line with company values and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and project documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations and codes of practice.
- Identify and resolve design and installation issues in a proactive and efficient manner.
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least of €60,000 plus package.
