Your new company are a leading mechanical contractor specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, plumbing, and fire protection services.

They now have a need for a dynamic and motivated Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

You will play a key role in the design, coordination, and management of mechanical services projects.

As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer:
 
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within the building services sector.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as a good working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (CIBSE, ASHRAE, etc.)
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design and project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and liaise effectively with clients and contractors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, practical solutions.

Intermediate Mechanical Engineer Skills:  
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
  • Support senior engineers and project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from design to installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure that installations meet design specifications, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within time and budget constraints.
  • Assist in implementing energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in all mechanical designs, in line with company values and industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and project documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant building regulations and codes of practice.
  • Identify and resolve design and installation issues in a proactive and efficient manner.

The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least of €60,000 plus package.
