Job Title: Industrial Cleaner (Night Shift)

Reports to: Industrial Supervisors

Contract Type: Permanent, subject to probationary period

Location: Various sites nationwide; travel required. The successful candidate must commute to the assigned site.

Hours: Night shift 8:00 pm - 6:30 am, Monday to Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts), 40 hours per week. Flexibility and occasional nationwide travel required. Overtime available.

Rate of Pay: €18.09 per hour (flat rate up to 46 hours); overtime paid at 2.25x for hours exceeding 46 hours.

Holidays: 20 days per annum or 8% of hours worked.

Probationary Period: 6 months, with annual performance reviews thereafter.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Cleaner to join our Industrial Division, working as part of a night shift team under the supervision of Industrial Supervisors. The role involves general industrial cleaning duties on customer sites, supporting the maintenance of high hygiene and safety standards. This is a hands-on role that requires teamwork, flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as directed by Industrial Supervisors.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene on site.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Safely operate industrial cleaning equipment and tools provided on site.
• Comply with all customer site requirements and policies during each assignment.
• Travel to various client sites nationwide as required.
• Take part in industry-specific training as required by the role.

Requirements

• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts and travel to various sites
• Good personal presentation and excellent personal hygiene
• Flexibility with working hours and duties

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or general operative role is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in challenging environments
• Willingness to undertake additional training

Equipment & Support

All required equipment will be provided on-site by the Mobile Supervisor.
