A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for HSCP Regional Practice Development Coordinator from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post:

The HSCP Regional Practice Development Coordinator will be responsible for the identification, delivery, and evaluation of professional development for HSCP within their Health Region. Initially the focus will be on increasing capacity and quality of clinical placements by supporting practice educators' development.

This will include the identification and delivery of region specific training needs, identifying and maximising the use of local skill sets and resources, and local ownership and management of supervision training with support from the National HSCP Office.

The role will require strong collaborative links between the national and regional HSCP teams, with the post-holder working to represent the Health Region within which they are employed, work collaboratively with HSCP teams in other Health Region areas, and work with the national team on specific projects and representing as required.
