This Role;


This office-based Sales position will assist our customers and partner network in understanding if the house is eligible for SEAI Retrofit grants. This advisor will then formulate a plan with our Analytics, Design and Documentation teams for implementing the works.

This role requires an understanding of Building Energy Ratings ( BER ) and the various SEAI grant schemes.


Comprehensive SEAI grant scheme training will also be provided.


Working under the One Stop Shop scheme, Community Energy Grants, Better Energy Homes, Vacant & Derelict and other schemes available, you will be advising homeowners and professionals on these projects using the information received from the Analytics team.


A key function of this role is to review each proposal, advising the homeowner so they have a complete understanding of the schemes, and the undertaking, while also guaranteeing our customers the best value and ROI.

Est 2001, Ashgrove Renewables is long established in the renewable energy sector in Ireland.


In 2021 we launched a Home Energy Upgrade division, growing rapidly since with further expansion planned for 2025 and 2026.

This is in line with the government's obligation & plan to upgrade 500,000 Irish homes by 2030 which is driven by generous grants.


In line with our strategy for expansion, we have purchased a larger facility which we are upgrading and will comprise a warehouse and offices. The offices will be state of the art, including a showroom, training facilities, customer meeting rooms and virtual meeting pods to cater for the ever-growing requirement for online consultations and presentations.


The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have strong interpersonal skills and the highest attention to detail.


Description of Responsibilities;

  • Engage with homeowners to discuss planned upgrades and identify their needs.

  • Review BER information for houses

  • Analyse and organise information related to home upgrades.

  • Assist in reviewing building plans and generating project specifications.



Requirements

  • Background or interest in construction / architecture / engineering or BER
  • Familiarity with BER software is a distinct advantage.
