RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.
 
We are seeking a dedicated candidate Healthcare Assistant - HCA to join our team in providing personalized care and support to individuals living in our Nursing Home based in Co Kildare.


No permit will be processing

 

  Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, ensuring they feel valued and cared for
  • Assist with mobility and transferring residents safely, promoting independence and maintaining a comfortable and homely environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident's specific needs
  • Document resident activities, observations, and any changes in condition to ensure continuity of care and effective communication among the care team.
 
 


Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant is preferred, but we also welcome applications from candidates with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and health and safety standards.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in healthcare assistance are desirable but not essential.
