Job Summary:

BrookLodge Hotel is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Receptionist to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for our guests, managing reception staff, and supporting the Front Office Manager in daily operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the Front Office team, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
  • Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure all reservations and billing procedures are carried out correctly.
  • Assisting with training and support for reception Crew while maintaining high team morale.
  • Assist in scheduling and rostering staff to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Monitor and maintain front desk procedures, ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks and reporting.
  • Uphold health & safety, and security procedures within the department.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Hotel Management software systems an advantage
  • A proactive and guest-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
