A leading national organisation in the disability and neurodiversity sector is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Psychology to lead a dynamic team across multiple regions. This role is ideal for a senior clinical psychologist with a passion for innovation, inclusive leadership, and service transformation.

Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Leadership:
    Lead the development of psychological services, with a strong emphasis on autism, neurodiversity, and complex disability. Drive service expansion beyond physical disabilities.

  • Clinical Oversight:
    Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions for children and adults. Provide supervision and mentorship to psychology staff.

  • Research & Education:
    Foster a culture of learning and research. Collaborate with academic bodies to advance clinical practice and knowledge-sharing.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Build strong partnerships with families, clinicians, and sector stakeholders. Represent the organisation at national and external forums.

  • Team Management:
    Oversee recruitment, performance management, training and professional development of psychology staff. Manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Essential Requirements


  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)

  • Extensive senior-level experience in disability and neurodiversity

  • Proven ability to lead service transformation and strategic planning

  • Strong record of research involvement and clinical governance
