Our client, based in East Cork, requires a Head of Manufacturing Manager for their senior management team. This vacancy has come about due to a retirement and internal promotions. You will be reporting in to the Operations Director. You will have 100 indirect reports. 4 team leads direct report. The senior leadership team have all been with the business for between 8 and 15 years, so there is a strong support team. You will be joining an expanding multi national company, that has had positive growth for the past number of years.
Your duties will include:
* Disciplined focus on day-to-day delivery of the site KPI metrics
* Develop succession planning roadmaps and a talent pipeline.
* Optimum use of headcount resource planning with strategic review and implementation.
* Manage and lead a team culture to drive performance improvements.
* Support front-line team leaders to deliver across all site metrics.
* Continuously improving site performance metrics
* Analytical ability to work through complex issues.
* Build strong relationships with other departments to ensure optimum performance and productivity.
* Continually review productivity goals to drive cost savings.
Do you have a formal degree? Engineering or other relevant degree.
Do you have 8 + years managing staff in a production facility?
Do you have the ability to deliver complex solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders?
Are you strategic? Goal focused? Passionate about leading and managing people?
