You will be working on delivering complex and large-scale civil engineering projects, where you will be responsible for estimating and pricing a wide range of civil, pipework, and valve projects, ensuring that costings are accurate and competitive. Experience with MEICA systems will be a strong advantage, as many of our projects require an integrated approach across various engineering disciplines.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor/Estimator:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of construction processes and principles.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within a fast-paced and supportive environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team and under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); familiarity with estimating software is a plus but not essential.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for tenders and ongoing projects, with a focus on civil engineering, pipework, and valves.
- Support senior team members in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
- Collaborate with the Tendering and Pricing department to analyze supplier quotes and prepare cost breakdowns.
- Gain exposure to the pricing of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) systems when relevant.
- Assist in evaluating project risks and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Learn to use industry-standard estimating tools and software to contribute to accurate project forecasts.
- Work closely with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather information for estimates and project budgets.
- Participate in internal meetings, gaining insight into project management, contract negotiations, and variation pricing.
The Package:
Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least of €60,000 plus package.
