Goods In Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Goods In Supervisor to oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of products and management of all incoming materials within the warehouse. This is a busy food manufacturing facility and will require previous warehousing and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receipt and processing of incoming stock and materials

• Ensure accuracy of all incoming shipments, and that they meet quality standards

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

• Ensure that all stock is stored safely and securely, and that the warehouse is kept clean and organized

• Manage a team of warehouse operatives, providing training and guidance as required

• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are accurate and to identify any discrepancies

• Develop and implement procedures for efficient and effective warehouse operations

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment

• Forklift Licence Required - Reach and Counterbalance and PPT required

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment

• Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm plus occasional Saturdays / overtime
