Our client a busy food manufacturing company in the Naas area are seeking a Machine Operator to join our clients team. The Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the evaporator system, monitoring the process, and ensuring that the equipment is running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the evaporator system and monitor the process to ensure that it is running efficiently

  • Conduct routine checks on the equipment and perform maintenance as needed

  • Record and report any issues or malfunctions with the equipment to the supervisor

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

  • Follow the company's standard operating procedures

  • Maintain accurate records of production and inventory

  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards

  • Assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Machine Operator / General Operator Experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Very good Computer Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical information

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Hours of Work:

Flexibility required - operates on shifts - 8am - 6:30pm / 10am - 6:30pm and 2pm - 10.30pm - Monday to Friday and some weekend work
