We are currently recruiting for Experienced Bar Staff who will work within our Bar Department at The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. As part of the experienced Bar Staff team, you will be operating at a fast-paced centre of excellence. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance of the Bar Manager. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career.

This is a fixed term position from the beginning of April to the end of September 2025.

Duties:

• Promoting and selling of drinks and food from our Bar, Grill Restaurant and Conference Centre
• Meeting and greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Recording guest orders in a prompt and professional manner with care and attention
• Provide a five-star experience for the Killarney Hotels Collection guests
• Ensure that the working area/station is kept clean and efficiently stocked at all times
• Boasting a professional and courteous attitude and complying with Killarney Hotels Collection policies and procedures
• Have a full knowledge of alcohol and liquor policies and regulations
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Preparing and serving drinks and cocktails
• Create a relaxed atmosphere that our customer has come to expect from Killarney Hotels Collection helping to strengthen our image

  Requirements:

• Hospitality/equivalent training with training in mixology
• Experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel
• Impeccable dress sense
• Fluency of the English language
• In-depth knowledge of fine wines, whiskey's, liquors and craft beers
• Be up to date on the latest trends in the beverage market
