The iNUA Collection is a renowned hospitality group known for its hotels and exceptional culinary experiences. In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation at The Gateway Hotel, one of our esteemed properties.

Responsibilities:

• Culinary Leadership: Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect the unique character of the hotel and iNUA Collection brand.
• Kitchen Operations: Oversee the daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and adherence to the highest hygiene and safety standards.
• Menu Planning & Cost Control: Craft seasonally inspired menus that are both delicious and maintain profitability. Manage food and labor costs effectively.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a talented team of chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Inventory Management: Develop and implement systems for ordering, receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to minimise waste.
• Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional culinary experiences that exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
• A strong track record of creating innovative and delicious menus.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire a kitchen team.
• In-depth knowledge of food preparation, costing, and inventory management.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other departments.
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a dedication to providing exceptional guest service.
