Our client, based in Tipperary, requires a shift electrician for their food factory. 3 shift system (6-2/2-10/10-6) Monday-Friday.
- Do you have an electrical trade?
- Do you have maintenance experience gained in a factory? (Not construction)
A generous rate is on offer.
Your duties will include:
- Attend to machine breakdowns with the mechanical team and solve/ diagnose any electrical issues and assist with any mechanical issues.
- carry out all physical and visual checks on site machinery as required
- Carry out PM issued by the Maintenance Co-ordinator
- Carry out repairs and upgrades throughout the factory
- Keep downtime to a minimum
- To log spares used and request spares as required from the Spares team.
Requirements:
* Ability to electrically fault find
* PLC and panel building would be advantageous.
* Experience with pneumatics
* Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
