Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst you will be responsibility for using standard procedures and processes to gather, format and load metadata as per outline by team supervisor.

Tasks may include:

•Execute assigned tasks using metadata repository architecture.
•Troubleshoot simple metadata repository problems with help from others and design and construct simple reports.
•Participate in quality reviews and the implementation, upgrade and maintenance of vendor supplied metadata management, master data management and information quality or other third-party software.
•Create and maintain Developer documentation as directed.
•Following predefined procedures and processes - collects, cleans, catalogues, maintains and delivers master data with guidance and supervision.
•Under supervision performs system administration duties such as user management, performance monitoring, metric reporting, backup and recovery, training and education provision.
•Performs data profiling and data quality analysis with guidance and supervision.

Qualification & Experience:

•BA/BS degree in computer science/information management or equivalent.
•3+ years’ experience in information systems and 1 year experience in data administration or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
•Extensive data wrangling and processing experiences on Hadoop stack (e.g., Hive and Spark) is required.
•SQL knowledge is a must.
•Python experience is a must
•Analytical experience and domain data knowledge in healthcare industry preferred
•Experiences with AWS is a plus
•Data visualization experience is a plus
